Bar Poll Results

State Bar of Texas

The State Bar of Texas conducted a non-partisan judicial poll of the state-wide contested races for the Supreme Court of Texas and the Court of Criminal Appeals, in addition to the contested district races for the courts of appeals. Attorneys could only vote for judges in their respective judicial districts. Candidate names were obtained from the Secretary of State and confirmed with the respective political parties. The non-partisan poll shows how attorneys voted for judges in contested races, but the results are not intended as an endorsement of any candidate by either the State Bar or any person or organization. (NOTE: Candidate names removed from the ballot after the commencement of the Judicial Poll are excluded from these results.)
